MelaThrive is a dedicated platform connecting aspiring Black entrepreneurs with established business leaders in our community. Our program pairs mentees with experienced mentors who provide personalized guidance, share industry insights, and offer access to their professional networks. The mentorship relationship is structured around regular meetings, goal-setting sessions, and practical business development support.

Through our platform, mentees gain access to a comprehensive suite of services including financial planning assistance, marketing strategy development, branding consultations, and digital marketing expertise. Mentors can provide guidance on funding opportunities, budget management, market analysis, and effective promotional strategies tailored to your specific business needs.

Mentees should be Black entrepreneurs with an established business or a well-developed business plan. Mentors should have at least 5 years of successful business experience, a strong track record in their industry, and a genuine commitment to supporting the Black business community. Both parties must complete our verification process and agree to our community guidelines.

We recommend a minimum commitment of 6 months, with at least 2-4 hours of engagement per month. This includes one-on-one meetings, check-ins, and participation in our community events. The specific schedule can be flexible and agreed upon between mentor and mentee pairs to accommodate different time zones and business commitments.

Our matching process uses a sophisticated algorithm that considers industry experience, business goals, skill sets, and personal compatibility. We take into account factors such as business stage, sector alignment, and specific areas of expertise needed. Both parties have the opportunity to review the match and ensure it's a good fit before beginning the mentorship relationship.
